Carpathian

For the second day in a row, upon request, I'll be posting something for your listening pleasure. Today it's Carpathian, an Australian hardcore band that's recently made their way across the great ocean to American soil. And with their latest full length being released in the states under the Deathwish label, it's not a stretch to see them blowing up in North America soon.

Though their older stuff had a more generic "tough guy", and almost metalcore sound, their latest release, Isolation, and the EP that preceded it, Wrecked, have a much more modern, northeastern American sound(similar to that of Shipwreck AD and Have Heart). Isolation is by far their best release to date, and I'm anxious to see what else this band has to offer. If you appreciate progression, then give their older stuff a listen. It will blow your mind how much Carpathian has matured both musically and lyrically over time. Here's everything I have, and please, see this band on their next US tour! It won't happen too often, so you should go to a show whenever you have the chance.

Foundation

Upon request, I'm posting everything I have from Atlanta Straightedge band Foundation. If you've yet to check this band out, you're missing out some pretty decent lyricism. It's easy to sing along to, and every line will go straight to your core. The music in itself is enough to get even the most timid of hardcore fans moving, it will pump you up and give you a reason to love this scene. So do this band a favor and buy some merch, buy some vinyl, and definitely go to a show or two.

You know, this may be one of the most short lived blogs in history. I've become very submerged in homework, projects and other school related things this month, and a lot has happened in the past few weeks. So, this blog has virtually flat-lined. I'm apologetic to those of you actually followed it, the whole two or three of you. Send me an email, any of you who look at this, and if I ever post anything again or if you just want some jams, I'll keep you informed or send you some music. I've got much to share, just not a lot of time to sit and upload files to the internet every afternoon. Goodbye.
